chaos earns her keep

she storms in and out of lives like a hurricane on heroin,
slashing in and out of the lines between damage, dream, and delight.
ecstasy on her sleeve and death on a dying breath, she'll climb and claw in her fight to conquer all.
will pillage even the small to feel a little bit more whole again while trying to recapture the soul that she stole from you way back when you were beautiful.

it was meant to be about love

this one was meant to be about all the ways i loved you to the moon and back,
the monochromatic rays of the sun sparkling beauty along my path.
instead all i have left in my heart are the track marks of where we started at five instead of one,
massive doses of intense body contact, then none.
left to scramble and scrape at the bottom of life's barrel of no fun, nothing won,
just another giant stain headed for the sun.

i will love you forever

i will love you till the soft glow of pale moonlight becomes the twilight of this wretched insight driving me further away from you.

retrograde in candlelight, as i toss and turn in bed trying to shake you out of my head knowing it won't happen.
